TEANECK, N.J. – The FDU Knights (6-21, 6-5 NEC) secured their second consecutive run-rule victory with a dominant 13-3 win over the Delaware State Hornets (3-18, 2-9 NEC).
Freshman left-hander
James Vlastaris delivered a much-needed six-inning start, striking out six while allowing just three runs on seven hits.
The Knights wasted no time jumping ahead, plating four runs in the first inning thanks to a defensive miscue and a pair of clutch hits.

Felix Gonzalez added an RBI double to left.
Delaware State got on the board in the third when Justin Batts launched a solo home run, cutting the deficit to 4-1. However, FDU quickly responded with two more runs in the bottom half of the inning, extending their lead to 6-1.
In the fifth, Gonzalez drew a bases-loaded walk to bring in another run, and
Travis Stroh followed with a two-run single through the left side, pushing the Knights' advantage to 9-1.
The Hornets showed some life in the sixth, scoring twice on an RBI single from Brady Daniels and hard contact from Sebastian Paz to make it 9-3.
FDU put the game away with four more runs to seal the victory. In the sixth,
Diego Urreta lined an RBI single to left to extend the lead. Then, in the eighth,
Andre Bouffard ripped a run-scoring double down the line, and
