BRIDGEWATER, N.J. – For the third consecutive week, FDU men's volleyball has picked up a First Point/NEC weekly award, with Defensive Player of the Week going to senior
Panagiotis Kourmouzos.
The Cyprus native had an impressive weekend in two matches against Princeton and American International. Against the No. 18 Tigers, Kourmouzos logged three blocks and one dig, as well as three kills and no errors for a .600 hitting clip. His momentum carried over to Saturday, where he tallied three digs, four blocks and five kills.
Kourmouzos leads the Knights in total blocks and is ranked third in the NEC for blocks per set.
FDU men's volleyball returns home on February 8, to take on No. 20 George Mason. First serve is set for 5 p.m. and will be streamed on NEC Front Row.
