HACKENSACK, N.J. – FDU women's basketball (24-3, 14-0) took down Stonehill ( ) by a score of 74-57 on Thursday morning.
The win ties an FDU program record of 24 wins. The Knights have already clinched the NEC Regular Season Championship, and at 14-0, have gotten off to the best start to conference play by any NEC team since 2019-20 Robert Morris.
FDU picked up the win following a stellar second-half explosion. The Knights were played close by Stonehill throughout the first half. After a strong run by the Skyhawks in the second quarter, FDU went into halftime with just a 31-27 lead.
The halftime adjustments made by Coach Gaitley during the break worked wonders. FDU came out firing on all cylinders to begin the second half. The Knights began the third quarter on a 12-2 run, building up to a double-digit lead that they would carry for the remainder of the game.
It was a balanced effort for the Knights in the win, with four different players scoring in double-figures. FDU was also on fire from deep in the win, converting 13 three-pointers.
FDU also has finished the regular season undefeated at home following the win. The Knights went 14-0 across their home contests in the 2024-25 season.

- Four Knights (Ava Renninger, Teneisia Brown, Abaigeal Babore, Abby Conklin) all scored in double figures in the win.
- Ava Renninger led the way for FDU, scoring 18 points on four threes.
- Teneisia Brown continued a dominant stretch in the victory
- Brown recorded a double-double for the seventh straight game.
- The graduate student scored 15 points and grabbed 10 boards.
- Abaigeal Babore had one of her best games of the season to date.
- Babore flirted with a double-double, scoring 15 points, grabbing nine rebounds, and seven assists.
- Babore remained perfect from the free-throw line. She currently ranks as the number two free-throw shooter in all of college basketball.
- Abby Conklin knocked down three triples to help the effort for FDU.
- The Knights' winning streak is now at 17 games, the longest in program history.
- FDU had one of their best shooting performances to date, converting 13 threes as a team.
- The Knights won the rebounding margin 37-32.
