MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The FDU Knights (0-5, 0-0) dropped game two against the Middle Tennessee State Raiders (3-3, 0-0) by a score of 10-0.
Jeremy Cheeseman took the mound for the Knights, facing a tough Middle Tennessee State lineup. The Raiders jumped on the board early with a homerun in the first inning.
The Raiders added to their advantage with runs in the second and fourth innings, building a 4-0 cushion. In the fifth, they capitalized on a bases-loaded walk and a grand slam to push the lead to 9-0.
The game was closed in the seventh inning with a walk-off single to cap the score at 10-0 for a Knights loss.
