HACKENSACK, N.J. – FDU celebrated senior day earlier today in their final home match of the season. The Knights recognized senior
Ethan Young who has had a great impact on the program in his two years on the banks of the Hackensack. Despite the celebrations, FDU was unable to stop a number two NEC ranked Daemen team, losing 0-3. FDU falls to 9-12 overall and 3-5 in the NEC.
The wildcats were able to hold the Knights to a .000 hitting clip on the night, hitting an impressive .338 themselves. The burgundy and blue were not able to defensively keep up with the hot hitting Daemen team, and a consistent number of unforced errors led to a commanding sweep by the Wildcats.
FDU was led by sophomore
Jamal Ellis Carballo, who totaled 14 kills on the night. Ellis Carballo also picked up the team high of two aces and six digs.
