FDU Knights Women's Bowling Team Triumphs at Northeast Roundup

New Castle, DE - The FDU Knights finished the weekend 6-4 on the lanes at the Northeast Roundup held at Bowlerama in New Castle, DE this past weekend.

Entering the tournament ranked 19th nationally according to the March coaches' poll, the Knights made their mark on day one with a phenomenal start, securing a perfect 5-0 record in traditional match play. Leading the charge was Junior
Allysha Howard, who dominated individually with a total pinfall of 1152 to win the tournament. Â With an impressive team average of 201.4, the Knights finished day one in a commendable third place, closely trailing behind Merrimack and Mount St. Mary's, who both scored 202.7.

Day two was a tougher battle with Baker total pinfall matches. Despite a strong start, including a victory against New Jersey City University (NJCU), the Knights had three closely contested losses against Delaware State, Bryant, and Mount St. Mary's.
