Knights Close Last Home Game Falling to Le Moyne, 70-60

HACKENSACK, N.J. – The FDU Knights took on the Le Moyne Dolphins on Senior Day which resulted in a 70-60 loss. With this game the Knights drop to 8-5 in NEC play and 10-16 overall.

The Knights honored graduate student Nickie Carter, and seniors Abaigeal Babore, Teneisia Brown, Abby Conklin and Mia Andrews for senior day before tip-off against the Dolphins.

FDU shot just under 35% from the floor and went 23% from three. The Knights saw opportunity today scoring 17 points off second chance attempts.

Despite the Burgundy and Blue's attempts to close the deficit, the Dolphins ten-point lead in the fourth proved to be the difference in the game. The Knights closed out their last home game with a 70-60 loss to Le Moyne.

The Knights had three scorers in double-figures: Teneisia Brown (19), Lilly Parke (15) and Staci Williams (13).

Brown attacked the basket today shooting 9-14 from the floor tallying 19 total points. The senior forward crashed the glass hard to collect eight rebounds. Defensively, Brown was able to deny the Dolphins four times with four blocked shot attempts.
