Game Recap: Women's Basketball |

Brown's Dominance Puts a Bow on 91-52 Victory for FDU

HACKENSACK, N.J. – FDU women's basketball (8-3, 0-0) wrapped up a 91-52 victory over Saint Michael's (4-6, 1-4) on Thursday afternoon.

The Knights were led by an utterly ridiculous performance by graduate student Teneisia Brown. Brown led FDU in both scoring and rebounding, with a 26 point, 15 rebound showing. Brown's afternoon sets multiple season-highs for the Knights. It is the most points and rebounds scored by an FDU player to date in the 2024-25 campaign.

FDU took the lead from the tip and never relinquished it, playing a dominant brand of basketball. The Knights unleashed a barrage from downtown, shooting 15-of-31 (48.4%) from deep as a team. Kailee McDonald played a big role in opening up the floor for FDU. The freshman scored 18 points off of the bench, good for a career-high. McDonald converted 5-of-7 from deep, and also tallied seven rebounds as well.

The Knights spread the wealth around the roster in the victory, with 13 different players checking into the game for Coach Gaitley. The Knights also had five different players score in double figures.

The win moves FDU to 4-0 on the season at home.
