Up and Down Weekend Ends with Two Wins for Women's Bowling

HOWELL, N.J. – FDU concluded play at the Garden State Classic on Sunday afternoon. The Knights bounced back from a challenging day two and were able to finish the weekend over .500 (7-6) with two wins on the final day. FDU improves to 29-16 on the year.

The first day of the event started with a difficult loss to North Carolina A&T. However, the Knights bounced back to win four-straight matches, including a three-pin victory over Bryant to close the day.

Day two saw the Knights go 1-4. This included losses to Jacksonville State and Vanderbilt. They were able to defeat Maryville.

The Knights were swept by Monmouth in their first baker match on Sunday morning. After they split seven games with Felician in the next match, the Knights were able to win the tiebreaker 83-75. This win gave them the momentum to roll over Niagara in the final match of the event.
