HACKENSACK, N.J. – FDU improved to 3-4 overall with an emphatic 107-58 win over Vermont State Randolph at the Bogota Savings Bank Center on Friday morning. Five Knights reached double-digit points as the team shot over 50% from the field.
The Knights kept remarkably good care of the basketball in this game. They only committed two turnovers throughout the 40 minutes. On the other hand, FDU cashed in 27 points off Vermont State Randolph's miscues.
Terrence Brown put together a performance of 24 points, nine rebounds and five assists. The nation's 15
th leading scorer entering today's game is now averaging 23.1 points per contest. He has scored 18 or more points in all seven games this season.
Notably,
Ahmed "Tyree" Barba-Bey reached his 1000
th career point in this game. He scored a season-high 14 points on 5-7 shooting. The former Jefferson product scored 948 points with the Rams before transferring to FDU this season.
FDU knocked down 11 triples in this game.
Dylan Jones carried the load in this department, knocking down five first half shots from beyond the arc. He would go onto miss his three second half attempts from downtown, but still finished with a season-high 17 points.
To go along with their caretaking of the basketball, FDU also spread it around well. They totaled 17 assists, and 11 Knights hit the scoring column.
