BINGHAMTON, N.Y. – Men's golf competed in the Matthews Auto Collegiate Invitational and finished 11^th. FDU shot +20 over as a team.
 
Pyae Phyo Thu (-2) found himself in the top ten for the first time this fall. The senior recorded four birdies and one eagle in a -3 first round. He'd go on to put four more circles on his scorecard in round two battling to a +1.
 
Sophomores Matus Kudlac (+6) and Will McKernan (+9) both rose up the leaderboard considerably on day two. Kudlac shot four strokes better in the second round and moved up 11 spots to T45. McKernan rose 19 spots to T63 with a 74 to finish the Invitational.

The Knights will compete at the Bucknell Invitation starting next Sunday, October 13. Day one will feature the opening two rounds and play will conclude with a third round on October 14.
