SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The FDU Knights took on the Le Moyne Dolphins in a Saturday battle that resulted in a Dolphins victory of 65-52. The Knights now sit with a 2-12 record as they start conference play 0-1.
NOTABLE NAMES –
- Abby Conklin dialed in for 18 points, a career-high and collected eight rebounds.
- Teneisia Brown tallied 17 points, a career-high and ten rebounds off the glass. Brown's third double-double of the season.
QUARTER 1
- Brown cashed in for six points as the Knights closed out the first with a 14-12 lead.
QUARTER 2
- Conklin connected on 3-for-6 (50%) of her shots as she cashed in seven points in the second quarter.
- The Dolphins led going into the half 35-28.
QUARTER 3
- Babore went 4-for-5 from the field as she nailed nine points for the Knights.
- Conklin and Rebecca Osei-Owusu were the only other Knights to score in the quarter.
- Le Moyne extended their lead 50-40 at the end of the third.
QUARTER 4
- Conklin and Brown scored six points each which accounted for FDU's 12 points for the final quarter.
- Ultimately, Le Moyne came away victorious with a score of 65-52
