STRATFORD, NJ- The bowling season resumed this week and saw FDU capture the N.J. Open. The Knights had a 12-1 record on the weekend at 30 Strikes in Stratford.
WEEKEND SUMMARY
The Knights had a strong start to the weekend with a 5-0 record after Baker total pinfall on day one. On day two the Burgundy & Blue lost a match to Monmouth before ripping off four-straight victories, including one over NEC rival Wagner, and finished 4-1. Senior, Julianna Spina finished 5th with an average 190.8 and junior, Allysha Howard was close behind and finished in 8th averaging 188.2 to finish day two. On day three FDU went 3-0 in the championship bracket, defeating Wilmington in the final, to win the tournament with an overall 12-1 record on the weekend.
