BERKELEY, Calif - The FDU Knights traveled to the west coast to take on the Cal Berkeley Golden Bears. Friday's matchup saw Cal surge past FDU 3-0.
A Golden Bear goal in the 5th minute put Seth Roland's squad on the defensive. Cal continued their strong pace and outshot the Knights 6-1 in the first 45 minutes.
Despite allowing a first half goal, Knights goalie Spencer King, picked up two saves before the intermission.
The Burgundy and Blue showed improvements on the offensive in the second half, they recorded six shots.
Spanish forward Tony Gomez led the team with three shots placing two on goal.
The officials assessed the Knights three yellow cards on the night.
FDU is back in action on Monday at 4 p.m. ET when they take on Saint Mary's.
