Fairfield, Conn.- On April 15th, the FDU women's lacrosse team (1-10)(1-5 NEC) went up against Sacred Heart (8-7)(7-0 NEC). Despite their best efforts, the Knights were unable to match the skill and depth of the Pioneers, who maintained their undefeated record in NEC matches.

1st QuarterÂ
- The Knights jumped out to an early 1-0 lead with 12:45 remaining in the quarter when Saige-Lyn Gidzinski scored her 19th goal of the season adding to her team-leading 32 points.
- Sacred Heart answered with five goals of their own to give them a 5-1 lead heading into the second.
2nd QuarterÂ
- The Pioneers added three goals to their tally giving them an 8-1 lead heading into the break.
3rd QuarterÂ
- Sacred Heart scored an additional six goals, bringing the score to 14-1 as they entered the final quarter.
4th QuarterÂ
- The Pioneers scored the game's final four goals as they cruised to an 18-1 victory.

Jewel Horsmon tallied six saves on the day with a combined save percentage of .250%
