WEST DEPTFORD, N.J. - No. 14 FDU women's bowling racked up seven wins in 13 matches as the Knights (42-21, 12-2 NEC) finished the three-day Northeast Classic in 17th place with the action taking place at Bowlero West Deptford. The event was hosted by No. 21 Sacred Heart and featured 14 of the top 15 teams in the nation, as ranked by the National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA).
Among the crowded field of 33 teams - the second-largest tournament since NCAA women's bowling began in 2004 - the Knights posted a 7-6 record culminating with a Baker match play win over the Pioneers in the position playoff to secure a top-half finish.

- Off to a hot start on Friday, the first day of the event, Mike LoPresti's Knights went 3-1 in their first four matches of Baker total pinfall competition.
- Averaging 225.40 pins in traditional scoring, junior Julianna Spina finished fourth individually leading all Northeast Conference bowlers. Spina finished with a high game of 268 which she rolled against No. 23 Wisconsin-Whitewater. The East Islip, N.Y. product would miss her day-high by two pins, tallying a 266 against No. 4 Nebraska.
- Facing former NEC member Mount St. Mary's, ranked 15th, in the middle of three playoff matches to close the event, FDU would fall to the Mountaineers in six games, bookended by wins over Sacred Heart. What's Next
