Standing out on the Scorecard
- Leon Heitz improved his first round score by five strokes, jumping five positions in the process for a share of third on the individual leaderboard.
- Heitz notched a team-high four birdies on the day.
- Senior Jaime Julve saw the greatest improvement after carding a 72 (E) on Saturday, nine strokes better than the previous day.
- Jake Lowis currently sits tied for 19th after sinking three birdies on the front nine and finishing four-over-par on the day.
- The Knight currently sit only six strokes behind Sacred Heart and Mount St. Mary's for the lead.
The third and final round of the NEC Championship is set for Sunday in Daytona Beach.
