Season Success
As a team, FDU has placed sixth or better in five events this season, including a second place finish at the Ryan T. Lee Memorial Collegiate to open the fall season. The Knights carded their lowest single-round team score at the same event, logging a 291 on the opening day of play. Individually,
Jaime Julve has led the way for the Burgundy and Blue, boasting a 73.2 stroke average through nine events this season. The senior has recorded five top-10 finishes, including a win at the Carpetbagger Classic on 3/20.
Freshman
Leon Heitz follows closely behind with a 73.7 stroke average and three top-10 individual finishes. The Muster, Germany native also claims a team-best single-round score of 66 (-6) at the Hartford Invitational on 9/26.
Through eight events this season, Junior
Freddie Spencer has logged a 76.6 stroke average and a pair of ninth place finishes in the first two events of the fall season.
Langdon Aronson and
Pyae Phyo Thu each had equally impressive freshmen campaigns, recording 78.7 and 78.4 stroke averages respectively. Freshman
Jake Lowis and Senior
Tristan Maharaj have also played pivotal support roles for the Knights in their quest for an NEC Championship.
