QUEENS, N.Y. -The Fairleigh Dickinson baseball team (18-18, 10-2 NEC) dropped an afternoon matchup against the St. John's Red Storm (13-25, 0-6 Big East) 15-2 at the Jack Kaiser Stadium Wednesday. 
How it happened  
	- The Red Storm started the scoring with a run in the third inning.  
 
	- St. John's extended its lead in the fifth inning, registering eight runs to make the score 9-0.  
 
	- In the sixth inning, the Red Storm added five more runs, including a three-run home run.  
 
	- FDU responded with two runs in the top of the seventh. Edward Novoa scored the first run for the Knights on an RBI double by Joan Sosa, and Brelon Harden reached home on a ground out to shortstop by George Rosales.  
 
	- St. John's added a run in the bottom of the eighth inning, concluding the game with a 15-2 win.   
 
Inside the box  
	- Jake Simon (3-2) took the loss, pitching three innings while striking out one and allowing just one run.   
 
	- Sosa finished 2-4 with a double and an RBI.  
 
	- Novoa went 1-1 with a run and a walk. 
 
Next Up      
The Knights travel to Trenton, N.J., to face Wagner on a three-game series this weekend. Game one of the series is set for Friday, April 22, at 3:00 p.m.
