BETHLEHEM, Pa. - No. 12 Fairleigh Dickinson women's bowling (53-33, 6-8 NEC) hits the lanes in the Keystone State this weekend as the Knights get set to take part in seven crucial Northeast Conference matches at the final NEC meet of the regular season.
With the action from Town & Country Lanes slated to kick-off after noon on Saturday, March 5,
Mike LoPresti's side will seek to move up in the conference standings as the Knights currently sit fifth behind No. 10 Mount St. Mary's and No. 19 Sacred Heart who share the top slot. Rounding out the middle of the pack is No. 11 Duquesne (third), No. 17 LIU (fourth) before FDU followed by St. Francis Brooklyn, Saint Francis U (Pa.) and Wagner who share the bottom slot with identical 3-11 in-league records.
Heading into the meet, FDU will look to build on their third-place finish at the Stallings Invitational which saw three Knights finish in the top 25 individual standings, including graduate student and two-time NEC Bowler of the Week
Amanda Chrzanowski finish second (1,118 pins) while fellow fifth-year
Aimee Sherman and redshirt sophomore
Julianna Spina shared the 23rd place finish with an even 960 each. Following her performance in North Carolina, Chrzanowski earned NEC Prime Performer recognition.
All seven matches this weekend will Baker total pinfall scoring and count towards towards NEC tournament seeding.

Following the event No. 12 FDU will take part in the USBC Singles Sectional on March 11 prior to the final team event of the regular season which is scheduled to come when the side competes in the Northeast Roundup, hosted by Wilmington (Del.), on March 19 and 20 in New Castle, Del. at Bowlerama.
