TEANECK, N.J. - The Fairleigh Dickinson baseball team (5-15, 0-0 NEC) is set to kick off Northeast Conference play at the Naimoli Family Baseball Complex this weekend for its third home series of the 2022 season.  

The Knights welcome the Mount St. Mary's Mountaineers on Friday afternoon at 3 PM. Saturday and Sunday's games are slated for 1 PM. All games can be watched on NEC Front Row.

Scouting FDU

• Jack Giovenco holds the highest batting average on the team with a .353, recording six hits in 17 at-bats. Justin Sierra registers 22 hits, the most for FDU. He holds 14 RBIs and 17 runs.  
• Pitcher Michael DiMartino has a 3.60 in five innings pitched, striking out six. Jake Simon sits with 3.94 in 16 innings pitched, striking out 13.   
• Joey Kosowsky leads the team in strikeouts with 24 in 24.2 innings pitched.  

Scouting Mount St. Mary's  

• Mount St. Mary's enters the game with a 4-11 record. The Mountaineers hold a batting average of .219 and a total of 105 hits, 73 runs, and 57 RBIs.    
• Mount's pitchers hold a 7.24 ERA and 106 strikeouts.    
• Last time out, the Mountaineers split a doubleheader with Georgetown. Cooper Adams earned NEC Pitcher of the Week honors.
