NORTH BRUNSWICK, N.J. - No. 10 FDU women's bowling came into the weekend third in the eight-team Northeast Conference and left with a 7-0 outing as the Burgundy and Blue took care of business on December 3 and 4 at Bowlero Carolier Lanes in North Brunswick, N.J. FDU (35-15, 12-2 NEC) has now matched its year-long NEC wins total from last season with seven more matches remaining in league play with the final NEC meet of the campaign scheduled to come on February 18-19 in East Haven, Conn.

- In the third of three matches to close-out the first day (vs. SFU), senior Ashley Sham, the reigning NEC Bowler of the Week, put the Knights in great positioning in the 10th frame up 13 with a strike up in the ninth crushed two in the tenth to extend the Burgundy and Blue advantage to 34 sticks.
- Junior Julianna Spina - in the anchor spot - threw the first hit in the 10th to clinch the match against the Red Flash. Spina would go on to finish with just one sub-200 game on the weekend (seven matches played).
- Senior Cameron Spring, already the NEC Bowler of the Week after the first conference meet, paced FDU on day one with a team-leading 639 pins, including a high game of 230. Spina would log the two-day high single game with 247 against the Dukes on day two.

The Knights get a nearly month-and-a-half break with the fall 2022 semester winding down in the next two weeks. No. 10 FDU returns from recess with the USBC Viking Classic, scheduled to get underway on January 15, 2023 at 9 a.m. at Fishkill Bowl in Fishkill, N.Y.
