FDU hits a barrage of three-pointers to take down the Bucknell Bisons

LEWISBURG, PA. -  For only the 12th time since 2015 the Bucknell Bisons have lost a game at Sojka Pavilion. The FDU Knights (2-1, 0-0) went on the road to Lewisburg, Pa. to take on the Bisons (0-3, 0-0) where they defeated the home team 62-49. The Burgundy and Blue went on a huge run in the first quarter where they outscored the Bisons 27-5. The Knights must have thought they were on ESPN with Mike Breen calling the game the way they shot the ball from three tonight. As a team, they shot 10-18 [55.6%] from three-pointers led by Senior Celia Carbonell who went 4-4 from deep. FDU notably struggled after the first quarter where they saw their 22-point lead dwindle down to eight at one point, but their defense held strong and did not let Bucknell fully back into the game. Despite typically being a defense-first team, the Knights offense shined in today's matchup shooting 47.8% from the field over the four quarters. Junior, Chloe Wilson led the Knights with 16 points and eight rebounds.
