Jennifer Oxman paced the Burgundy and Blue on day two of the Dezy Strong Classic hosted by Adelphi as the Knights went 4-1 with three wins against first-time opponents, also first-year programs. No. 10 FDU (13-7) competed in five traditional total pinfall matches in the middle of the three-day event at Coram Country Lanes.

- Senior Cameron Spring rolled the Knights' high game in the first-ever meeting between FDU and Northeast Conference member Merrimack with a 229. The Allegheny, N.Y. native would have the high for the afternoon among FDU bowlers with a 235 against former NEC member Bryant at the end of the day. Spring joins Oxman in the top 15, finishing the day 14th with 989 downed pins.
- Cruising to a 4-1 afternoon, Oxman got the job done in the second spot recording three games over 200 - 212 against Merrimack, 211 in the loss to No. 17 Tulane and a 223 in the nightcap against the Bulldogs. The Lauderhill, Fla. product sits 11th individually among 43 listed student-athletes with 1,000 downed pins, averaging 200.0 pins per game on day two of the event.
- No. 10 FDU is now 2-4 this season against opponents ranked in the national poll.
One day remains in the Dezy Strong Classic before the Knights compete again November 12 in the first NEC meet of the season, set to be held over two days (Nov. 12 and 13) at Nesbit's Lanes in Pittsburgh, Pa., hosted by conference associate member Duquesne.
