TYRONE, PA. – FDU's men's and women's cross country teams wrapped up their season today at the Northeast Conference Championships hosted by Saint Francis U. The Knights ran for the second time this season at B&D Acres in Tyrone, Pa. Senior Yahnik Martin led the men's team with a time of 29:30.3 on the 8k course, while graduate student Cassandra Meyer paced the women with a time of 22:28.3 on the 5k course. 
 

Men's Race Notes

• Martin and Alex Cedillo led the group with times of 29:30.3 and 31:49.9 for a 70th and 80th place finish
• Liam Deep and Destiny Emuze finished next on the men's side with 83rd and 86th place finishes
• Rounding out the Burgundy and Blue were Christopher Graham, Malik Ricketts, and Conroy Ellis
• The Knights were without freshman Matthew Ulloa for the final meet of the year
• The men finished ninth out of nine teams
• Wagner picked up the team win
• Jean Uminski from Wagner picked up the individual win

Women's Race Notes

• Meyer and Tricia Phillips led the women with times of 22:28.3 and 24:02.1.
• Chloe Lucas and Dominique Greaux-Gist were the next finishers for the women in 83rd and 84th place
• Rounding out things for the Knights were Shy-Ann Campbell and Jordana Greaux-Gist who finished with times of 25:44.1 and 26:48 
• The women finished ninth out of nine teams
• CCSU and Stonehill tied for first on the women's side, but CCSU won the tiebreaker
• Ainhoa Brea from LIU picked up the individual win
