Quotable

"This match was all about preparation and hard work. The team dialed in after our match on Tuesday and was ready to play," head coach David Nguyen said. "We played some of the best volleyball that I have seen all season. The way we defended and took care of the ball was exactly what we have been preaching at practice. We will celebrate this victory today and then prepare for next weekend."

"Today's win felt great, we are continuing to prove that we are not a team to be taken lightly," graduate student and captain Sophia Spiridonakos said. "Our confidence is high and we're ready to get back to work this week to keep defending our home court against Sacred Heart and CCSU!"

The Road Ahead

FDU looks forward to hosting 2 games next weekend at the Stratis Arena on Friday against Sacred Heart at 5 p.m. and Saturday against Central Connecticut at 4 p.m. Watch all the action live on NEC Front Row.
