Coach Szumilo's Thoughts

"This was a tough win for us. Credit to Merrimack for playing the way they played despite being short handed. We had to dig deep in the second half and in two overtime periods. I am very proud of our team's fight and perseverance. We never stopped believing. We had multiple players stepping up on both ends of the court when we needed them to and that became contagious."

What's Next

The Knights continue NEC play on the road as they travel to Smithfield, R.I. to take on Bryant on Saturday at 1 p.m. in Chace Center.
