BROOKLYN, N.Y. - The Knights (9-8, 6-1 NEC) defeated St. Francis Brooklyn (8-7, 4-3 NEC) on Friday in a decisive victory as graduate student Madison Stanley notched a career-high 25 points.
How it Happened

Aniya Bell shot three-for-three in the first quarter to lead the Knights in an offensive battle. As the team shot 53.3 percent from the floor, the teams traded points to end the quarter with a 19-17 FDU lead.

The Knights went on an 8-1 run in the final four minutes of the second quarter to enter halftime with a seven-point advantage, the largest lead of the first half.

As the Terriers got within five, the Knights went on a 12-2 spurt to maintain control. FDU shot 9-for-17 to end the quarter 54-40.

St. Francis Brooklyn attempted to work their way out of the deficit, shooting 9-for-10 from the free throw line to get within single digits of the Knights with a minute remaining of play. A final pair of free throws by Stanley sealed the decision in favor of FDU, 72-62.

With a career-high 25 points on a 64.3 percent clip, Stanley also recorded nine rebounds, three assists and four blocks to lead the Knights.

Chloe Wilson and Devyn Scott shot 100 percent from the free throw line. Wilson contributed a total of 13 points and eight rebounds for the Knights.
