Coach Teepe's Thoughts
"I felt that we were just not prepared to step on the field and compete today. I think we all have to look ourselves, including us as coaches, and make sure this doesn't happen again. We let them dictate the game, which is something we haven't been doing, so it's disappointing to say the least."
"[Ahead of NEC play] we have to figure out what happened today and make sure it doesn't happen again. We've gotta be critical of ourselves, and we can't get too down, but we can't forget this. We've had a good run of games – today was not one of them."
What's Next
The Knights begin NEC play with a home match against Saint Francis U (Pa.) on Sunday, September 19, at 12 p.m., right here at University Stadium. The match will be streamed live on NEC Front Row.
