HACKENSACK, N.J. -- Fairleigh Dickinson men's volleyball head coach Karl France announced Monday the addition of Jael Deveaux to the inaugural FDU men's volleyball roster.
Hailing from Ossining, N.Y, Deveaux is a 6'3" outside hitter who played his high school volleyball with Cardinal Spellman and his club ball with Legacy Volleyball Club. Deveaux excelled off-the-court as a student, earning second honors during his time at Cardinal Spellman. He is also a black belt with 12 years of experience as a martial artist.
On the signing of Deveaux, France said, "Jael is an exciting talent who has a high ceiling. He is a young man with high aspirations and works on his craft when he is not studying. He will fit in well as a Knight."
FDU men's volleyball is set to begin play in January 2022. Follow the Knights on Twitter and Instagram, @FDUKnightsMVB.
