TEANECK, N.J. - Strong pitching was enough to hold the FDU (7-23, 6-17) bats down as Wagner (9-20, 6-17) came away with the win 5-1.
How It Happened:
1st Inning:
- Wagner began the game the same way they started on Friday with a solo home run to over the center field fence by Jared Gillen
3rd Inning:
- Gillen would drive in another run for Wagner with a sacrifice fly making the score 2-0
5th Inning:
- FDU would surrender three straight walks with two-outs and Wagner capitalized on a throwing error that allowed two runs and giving Wagner a 4-0 lead
6th Inning:
- Wagner again would use a free base to propel another run across, as a lead off walk would eventually score on a single making it a 5-0 game
7th Inning:
Inside the Box Score:
- Sierra stole his 18th base on the season
- FDU pitching only allowed two hits to Wagner
