TEANECK, N.J. - Nine seniors were recognized prior to the start of Saturday's game that would end with LIU (17-12, 15-10) defeating FDU (8-25, 7-19) 18-2. 

How It Happened:

• FDU took a 1-0 lead in the first inning as Justin Sierra doubled in a run
• LIU would respond in the second inning with three runs, two of which came off an FDU fielding error
• The Sharks scored twice in the 3rd inning 
• FDU chipped into the deficit in the fourth as TJ Werner doubled down the third base line driving in Brad Levinson
• In the 5th inning, LIU would break the game open scoring seven runs
• LIU would tack on a pair of runs in the 6th, 8th, and 9th innings

FDU and LIU will play for the final time in the 2021 season on Sunday at 12 p.m at the Naimoli Family Baseball Complex.
