NORTH BRUNSWICK, N.J. – The No. 20 Fairleigh Dickinson women's bowling team (17-2, 8-1 NEC) heads back to North Brunswick this weekend for the second and final Northeast Conference meet of the 2020-21 season.
FDU will take on three NEC rivals in Mount St. Mary's, LIU and St. Francis Brooklyn on Friday, 2/26, Saturday, 2/27, and Sunday, 2/28, respectively. The Knights return to conference play having just come off an 8-1 weekend competing in the first NEC meet with the Knights winning the overall series against No. 17 Duquesne, 2-1, and sweeping Wagner and St. Francis (Pa.), 3-0 each, as head coach
Mike LoPresti garnered his 1,500
th career win against the Seahawks on Feb. 20.
To open the meet this weekend, the Knights will take on Mount St. Mary's Friday, just over a year (2/23/20) after their most recent match, a 4-1 win in traditional scoring for FDU. The Knights are also on a three-match win streak against LIU, having won a traditional bout by almost 230 pins (1,083-855) in February of last year and on a two-match win streak against the St. Francis (Brooklyn) Terriers defeating them in traditional play as well in 2020.

Julianna Spina who will look to continue their impressive play against three of the four remaining NEC opponents. Along with Henderson and Spina, sophomore
Cameron Spring was named an NEC prime performer.
Heading into the meet, LoPresti said, "We're going to continue our methodical approach and stick to the basics this weekend. We have a lot of respect for the teams in the NEC and we're expecting to battle right down to the last shot in every match."
