SOMERSET, N.J. – The No. 20 Fairleigh Dickinson women's bowling team swept this week's Northeast Conference honors as senior
Jenna Henderson was named the Co-Bowler of the Week and redshirt freshman
Julianna Spina was named Rookie of the Week. The accolades for both student-athletes come on the heels of an impressive team performance for the Knights as the Burgundy and Blue went 8-1 against NEC foes last weekend, including winning the final eight consecutive matches.
Henderson finished the week with 94 frames bowled and a 21.52 overall frame average, including 21.7 in traditional matches and 21.44 in those that followed Baker scoring. She also finished the week with a 55.3 percent overall strike average. Additionally, Henderson achieved a 92.5 percent single pin conversion (25 of 27 pins).
Spina went 12-for-12 in single pin conversion during week three of the season which also saw her reach an overall strike percentage of 56 percent and an overall filled frame percentage of 56 percent. She reached a 21.28 overall frame average (21.3 traditional, 21.22 Baker) during last week's matches.
Additionally, sophomore
Cameron Spring joined Henderson and Spina as prime performers for week three of the 2020-21 campaign.
