Women's Basketball Cruises Past Saint Francis (PA)

HACKENSACK, N.J. – The Fairleigh Dickinson women's basketball team (5-6, 2-0 NEC) outscored Saint Francis University (PA) (0-13, 0-2 NEC) 39-23 in the second half en route to a 65-47 victory Friday afternoon.

 How it Happened 
· With the Red Flash leading 8-6, the Knights went on a 10-2 spurt bridging the first and second quarters to take the lead for good. Madison Stanley added six points during the run.
· The Red Flash closed to within a pair entering halftime, but FDU used a 15-4 rally over the first 6:18 of the third stanza to open a double-digit lead.
· The Knights limited Saint Francis to one field goal over the first 4:35 of the third quarter and shot 75% (6-of-8) from the floor in the fourth to preserve the victory.

Inside the Box Score 
· The Knights shot a season-best 51.1% (23-of-45) from the floor and collected a season-high six blocks. 
· Stanley and Aniya Bell notched a team-best 18 points, as Bell also contributed five rebounds and four assists.
· Stanley collected a career-high six rejections in the victory, and the most since Erika Livermore had six against St. Francis Brooklyn on January 12, 2015.

The Knights close out the non-conference schedule on Sunday as they hit the road to face Fordham University at 5 pm in a rescheduled game from December 19.
