Scouting the Knights
Just hours before tip-off at Princeton on November 28 it was announced that head coach Greg Herenda would not participate due to a non-COVID illness. Assistant Pete Lappas served as the acting head coach for the game against the Tigers. Coming out strong, the Burgundy and Blue held the lead for the first 1:36 once scoring opened following a bucket by junior Daniel Rodriguez. Brandon Rush helped fuel the Knights' offense in the second half as the Warrensville, Ohio junior was on a 5-for-6 personal run from deep when he came off the floor with 10:12 to play in regulation. Junior co-captain Devon Dunn contributed 12 points and a rebound in 38 minutes of playing time. Training by two at the half, FDU would fall to the Tigers in the seventh all-time meeting of the two Garden State foes by a final of 89-79.
