LODI, N.J. - No. 8 Fairleigh Dickinson women's bowling secured their first hardware of the young season as the Knights cruised to an 8-1 finish at this weekend's Falcon Fall Classic, hosted by Felician at Lodi Lanes.
Holding firm in first place for most of the two-day competition, FDU went 3-1 on the first day of play, competing in five traditional scoring matches (total pinfall), including an empty bout due to an odd number of competing teams.

Starting off the day with an 897-838 win over Bloomfield, the Knights moved to a 1,003-824 rout of D'Youville - the first time this season FDU knocked down 1,000 pins in a single match. The Burgundy and Blue would then beat Molloy by a 919-812 tally before falling to No. 9 (DII/III Poll) Caldwell, 935-904. FDU knocked down 865 pins in the "blind" game to bring their traditional scoring total to 4,588 pins.
Moving to day two of the event, the Knights went a perfect 5-0 in Baker total pinfall action, cementing the Knights' tournament victory. Beginning with a 950-843 rout of the host Falcons, FDU went on to defeat St. Thomas Aquinas 979-760, NEC foe Wagner 855-778, Daemen 914-869 and No. 25 Adelphi 998-976.
Three Knights earned All-Tournament Honors, including graduate student
Amanda Chrzanowski who was named the tournament's MVP. She was joined on the All-Tournament Team by fellow grad student
Jenna Henderson and junior
Cameron Spring.
