FDU jumped to an early lead in set one following a four-point run. With a pair of service aces by SFU senior Nicole Adams, the Red Flash closed the gap, leveling the match at 11. SFU maintained the momentum to take the set 25-19.

Set two began in a tight battle with the score tied at 9. On a six-point run, the Red Flash gained control and did not let go. With 18 kills, SFU dropped the Knights 25-17.

The Red Flash commanded the third set. On a .500 clip, SFU defeated the Knights 25-11.

Next Up
The Knights return to NEC play on Friday as they travel to Smithfield, R.I. to take on Bryant in the Chace Athletic Center. They will then turn around to face Merrimack on Saturday in North Andover, Mass. at 5 p.m.
