Graduate student Alix Christie led the Knights recording six kills and two blocks for 7.5 points. With 5.5 points and a .300 clip, senior Brooke Stevens contributed three kills and four blocks towards the Knights cause.

Freshman Hannah Schmidt anchored the Knights with 16 assists while senior Allegra Rivas led FDU's defense with 18 digs.

Bryant held command in the first set, taking off on a seven-point run. Sustaining the momentum, the Bulldogs topped the Knights 25-15.

FDU came out with a pair of blocks to kick off a tight second set. With the score knotted at 17, the Bulldogs went on a 5-1 run to take the set 25-19.

Set three began in another tight battle till a series of kills by Christie jolted the Knights into the lead. The teams traded points to 22, but a final block by the Bulldogs defeated FDU 25-22.

"This match was decided by who could convert digs into points. Bryant did a better job tonight by getting more chances and aces. We played with great effort and like our chances as we face Merrimack tomorrow."
