First Meeting...10/18/09 (FDU 1, Bryant 1, 2OT)
Last Meeting...4/13/21 (FDU 2, Bryant 1)

Scouting the Bulldogs
Bryant will enter University Stadium riding a strong run of form, having won four of their last five, with their lone loss coming in double overtime to Wagner. Despite a slow start to the season, including five straight losses to open the year, Bryant have begun to see better results at the right time, and they currently sit third in the NEC standings. The Bulldogs have a three-pronged attack with freshman forward Catherine Bean, graduate student forward Katie Cronin, and freshman midfielder Emma Pedolzky, who each are in the top ten in the NEC in points. Bean leads the conference in shots (55), points (18), and is tied for the conference lead in goals (7). Cronin is not far behind in goals, having logged six this season, while Pedolzky has notched four goals and five assists, her assist tally good for third in the conference.

Scouting the Knights
The Knights are currently on a three-game conference winning streak and looking for their fourth straight win. A win here would make this the fourth consecutive full season for the Knights with a four-game winning streak. The Knights attack has been powered as of late by the scoring of Aitana Martínez-Montoya and the distribution by Madelyn Robbins. Martínez-Montoya is tied for the lead in goals in the NEC with seven, and she leads the conference in conference goals with six. Robbins has seen all four of her assists this season come in the last three matches, and in each of the last three matches, she has contributed an assist on a set-piece. Malene Nielsen remains a central figure for the FDU defense in net, as her conference save percentage of 88.6% leads the conference by a near-eight percent margin. The Knights occupy the top spot in the conference standings.

Coach Teepe's Thoughts
"This game ends a tough four game stretch, and what a top game this will be. Bryant has been in the top of the NEC every year and this year is no different. They are playing well and we will need to play our best and be aggressive in attacking their end. I know our team would like to continue their steps towards a NEC play off spot, so hopefully this will get us one step closer."

What's Next
The Knights finish up their road game slate on Sunday, October 24, at 11 a.m., where they will take on St. Francis Brooklyn at Brooklyn Bridge Park (Pier 5). The match will be streamed live on NEC Front Row.
