Men's Soccer Adds Sean Arus to Incoming Class of 2024

TEANECK, N.J. – Fairleigh Dickinson men's soccer and head coach Seth Roland announced the addition of Sean Arus to the incoming freshman class of 2024 on Friday.

Hailing from Queens, N.Y., Arus lettered for St. John's Prep in the CHSAA as a midfielder, and he also played on the club circuit for Eleftheria Pancyprians. Arus will join the defending Northeast Conference champions prior to the start of the upcoming 2020 season.

"Sean is a very skillful left-footed attacking midfielder who can play on either wing or in the middle," said Coach Roland. "His technical ability should translate well at the Division I level."

Arus earned All-League honors in 2019 for the second straight year at St. John's Prep, helping the team finish third in the A Division standings this past season.

For his club team, Arus was a key player for Eleftheria Pancyprian that competes in the Cosmopolitan Junior Soccer League. His team also plays in the NYCSL Premier League, winning eight of their 13 games in the 2018-19 season, and they also earned the 2018 NY State Cup title for U19.

Arus is the 14th new addition to the 2020 roster for the Knights and the 13th announced member of the class of 2024. The Knights enter the 2020 season after winning the program's ninth NEC Championship, a conference record, and recording the program's 18th NCAA Tournament appearance this past season.
