NEW BRITAIN, Conn. – The Fairleigh Dickinson women's basketball team fell 77-56 to Central Connecticut State on Sunday night at the Detrick Gymnasium. With the loss, the Knights (4-4, 1-3 NEC) split the season series with the Blue Devils (2-2, 2-2 NEC) after last night's 55-54 win.

Lindsey Mack led the Knights with 17 points on 5-11 shooting and three three-pointers. Senior
Madison Stanley also scored in double figures with 11 points. Sophomore
Sierra DeAngelo nearly recorded her second straight double-double as she netted 10 points and pulled down nine rebounds.

How it Happened
- In a high scoring first quarter that saw five lead changes, the Blue Devils held a 16-15 lead with the Knights offense having five players score, including a team-high four points from both DeAngelo and sophomore Maria Roters.
- FDU opened the second quarter with the first five points and took a 20-16 advantage, sparked by a jumper from freshman Abby Conklin, but CCSU's offense erupted for 29 points over the final eight minutes of the frame as the Blue Devils led 45-27 at the half.
- The Knights opened the second half by scoring the first six points on layups from Stanley and junior Madeline Selvaggi and a pair of Mack free throws to cut the deficit to 12 points with 6:55 left in the third.
- Freshman Chloe Wilson connected on a pair of layups to get as close as 11 points from the lead with 3:38 remaining in the third quarter at 51-40, but CCSU pushed the lead back to 16 going into the fourth quarter.
- Mack netted a team-high 10 points in the fourth quarter, including two three-pointers as the Knights fell to CCSU.
