HACKENSACK, N.J. – The Fairleigh Dickinson women's basketball team ended 2020 with a 66-60 non-conference victory over Saint Peter's on Tuesday night at the Rothman Center.
Senior
Madison Stanley posted her first double-double of the season and third of her career with 19 points and 10 rebounds. Stanley shot 8-14 from the floor in 37 minutes of action. Freshman
Chloe Wilson also scored in double figures with 12 points and grabbed six rebounds. Fellow freshman
Devyn Scott registered nine points and grabbed seven boards in the win.
Coach Szumilo's Thoughts
"Everyone was just ready and everyone contributed on both ends of the court today," said coach Szumilo following the victory. "Boxing out and rebounding was a big key for our game today and not letting them get the ball on the offensive boards because, they average nearly 20 offensive rebounds per game."
