KNIGHTS NOTES
The Knights picked up their first win of the season by topping Manhattan in straight sets 25-21, 25-14, 25-22 on Tuesday night at Draddy Gymansium.
The Burgundy and Blue delivered their best performance of the season and limited the Jaspers to a .017 attack percentage in the contest. Junior outside hitter
Victoria Demmene's offensive impact included 10 kills and three aces, while sophomore
Sophia Spiridonakos added six kills for the Knights and matched classmate
Brooke Stevens with a team-high three blocks in the victory.
This season, the Knights have enjoyed success from the serving line with sophomore outside hitter
Jessica Throckmorton leading the charge. Throckmorton ranks eighth in the NEC with .30 aces per set. In conference play this season. freshman hitter
Mujay Mambu is pacing the Knights with 2.33 kills per set. Mambu has tallied double-digit kills six times this season.
Defensively, the Knights have received equal contributions in the front line from Spiridonakos, Throckmorton and junior
Magdalena Maksimovic. Three trio has registered five total blocks apiece through the Knights' first two conference tilts.

SCOUTING THE TERRIERS
The Terriers (5-10, 0-2 NEC) are coming off a five-set battle with the defending NEC Champions Bryant last weekend. The five-setter marked the second match in a row that the Terriers went to a deciding set and sixth time overall this season. Although she was limited to just one kill against the Bulldogs, sophomore Una Stevic has paced the Terriers this season with a team-high 2.87 kills per set. Stevic and teammates Vanja Miljacic and Ally Speweik enter the weekend all averaging over two k/set. The Terriers won last season's two meetings against the Knights in four sets.
SCOUTING THE SHARKS
The Sharks enter the weekend with a 2-0 NEC record after winning each of their first two matches in five sets. The hot start helped the team sweep this week's NEC awards as Senior Kora Schaberl was named Molten/NEC Player of the Week. Freshman Karolina Nova earned Molten/NEC Rookie of the Week for the second straight week. Sophomore libero Anastasia Scott garnered Molten/NEC Defensive Player of the Week. Schaberl is currently tops in the league averaging 3.77 kills per set and Nova ranks sixth with 2.79 k/set.
