TEANECK, N.J. -- Looking to find success as they head into the final stretch of their season, the Fairleigh Dickinson baseball team (10-28, 1-17 NEC) will host Sacred Heart (10-30, 5-12 NEC) this weekend for a four-game slate. Live stats will be available for all four games, with video coverage of Sunday's game live on NEC FrontRow.
Prior to first pitch on Saturday, the Knights will welcome a group of the program's alumni for an on-field ceremony.

MEET THE SOPHOMORES
On this week's edition of the Knights Baseball Roundup, get to know the sophomore class.
LAST TIME OUT
The Knights were swept by conference leader Wagner last weekend. Despite the outcome, the Knights were encouraged by strong pitching efforts from the entire staff, as Joe Flack, Aaron Cohn, Trent Valentine, and Corey Zeller each contributed solid innings for the Burgundy and Blue. In the series finale, Connor Stanton ignited the Knights at the plate, notching two hits and Peter Theodorellis chipped in a hit of his own, though FDU was unable to come away with a win, falling 6-1 to the Seahawks.
SLUGGING SELTZER
Sophomore Brandon Seltzer went surging at the plate last week, going 5-for-13, while also hitting his first career home run for the Knights. Seltzer has also added scored four runs and has shown a good vision, edging out five walks in the past week.
STARTLING COMBO
Connor Stanton and Owen VonEsslinger are coming also coming off a week in which they excelled for interim head coach Justin McKay. The freshman Stanton piled went 4-for-9, including a double, also scoring two runs. After being sidelined for a couple of weeks, VonEsslinger is getting back in the groove of things as the sophomore went 5-for-11 and tallied two RBIs against Wagner.
COUNT ON COREY
Starting pitcher Corey Zeller has enjoyed a successful junior campaign so far throughout the season, garnering an NEC Co-Pitcher of the Week award, Zeller also is ranked 7th in the conference with a 4.76 ERA. In his last start, the junior struck out four Wagner hitters in seven innings, while also allowing three earned runs, giving him a quality start.
SCOUTING SACRED HEART
The Pioneers come into Teaneck with a .252 batting average and a 6.49 ERA, which both ranks sixth in the NEC. Dan Schock is the leader for Sacred Heart, as he leads the team with in hits (45), RBIs (33), doubles (9), home runs (9), and batting average (.317). The top two starting pitchers for the Pioneers James Taubl and Brent Teller have both started 10 games, and Teller has a 5.46 ERA, while Taubl has a 5.92. The top reliever Cooper Thompson, has appeared in 12 games and has a 4.50 ERA.
