BRONXVILLE, N.Y. -- The Fairleigh Dickinson men's tennis team was back in action on Wednesday, traveling to Concordia to take on the Clippers. The Knights fought hard being shorthanded but fell to the Clippers 6-3.  

The Knights only had four healthy players but still had bright spots throughout the evening.  

Niclas Pietsch, Moric Budinszky, and Maciej Autuch all won their single matches. Pietsch defeated Eymeric Chevailer 7-6 (7-1), 6-4, while Budisnzky (competing at No. 2 singles) won in straight sets against Henry Masters 6-4, 6-0. In No. 3 singles, Autuch prevailed victorious after beating William Nilsson 7-5, 3-6, 1-0 (10-4).  

Miki Noubuzawa dropped a tough match to Michele Fenoaltea 6-3, 7-6. In doubles, FDU's pair of Pietsch and Budinszky were topped by the Clippers' duo of Chevalier and Masters in a thrilling 9-8 match. 

The Knights will be off this weekend, however will compete against Queens College on Monday, February 19, at 12:00 in Flushing.
