No. 10 Women's Bowling Heads to Texas for PVAMU Invitational

HACKENSACK, N.J. -- The 10th-ranked Fairleigh Dickinson women's bowling team heads to Arlington, Texas this weekend for the Prairie View A&M Invitational.

LAST TIME OUT
The Knights finished ninth at the Kutztown Invitational in Reading, Pennsylvania two weeks ago. Fairleigh Dickinson went 1-2 in bracket play on Sunday against Saint Francis U, Stephen F Austin, and Adelphi. Aimee Sherman was named Third-Team All-Tournament Team, and the Knights finished the weekend.

LAST SEASON AT PVAMU
A season ago, the Knights finished in fifth after going a perfect 2-0 on Sunday. On the tournament's file day, Fairleigh Dickinson beat Maryland Eastern Shore and Stephen F Austin.

At the time head coach, Mike LoPresti said, "After a disappointing Saturday, we turned it up a couple of notches today, and that was what we needed. Over the weekend we defeated the number one team in America [Arkansas State] and the defending national champions [Stephen F. Austin]. Those results are certainly confidence builders."
