COLTS NECK, N.J. - The Fairleigh Dickinson men's and women's cross country teams completed the Monmouth Tune-Up Saturday afternoon, with the men's team finishing in third with 78 points and the women's team taking third with a score of 76.
The Knights return to action on Saturday, October 7 when they head to Smithfield, Rhode Island for the NEC Championships.

For the men, sophomore Shevan Parks paced the Knights on the afternoon, running a final time of 16:33.60 and taking seventh place overall. Noah Rotich was next up for FDU, taking home 14th overall with a time of 16:51.62.
The Knights had five runners occupying spots 17-21, as Christopher Graham (17:52.59), Amos KipChirchir (18:14.67), Sandley Elysee (18:20.44), Justin Cadas (18:21.63), and Zubayr Ismail (18:24.36) rounded out the top seven finishers for FDU.
Abdallah Hammad and Keion Oglesby also participated.
On the women's side, the Knights were led once again by sophomore Sylvia Kipkorir, whose final time of 11:28.84 was good enough for 13th overall.
Stella Jepkogei and Jazmyn Lewis followed closely behind, taking 19th and 20th with times of 11:58.37 and 12:03.49, respectively.
Danielle Griffith (13:00.45), Gabriela Coimbra (13:13.86), Gabrielle Charles (13:29.69), Shaniyah Caul (14:58.73), and Shanice Watkins (15:51.90) also participated.
