Women's Soccer Visits Monmouth Friday, Hosts La Salle Sunday

HACKENSACK, N.J. -- Monmouth and La Salle are the two opponents this weekend for the Fairleigh Dickinson women's soccer team. The Knights visit Monmouth on Friday afternoon at 4 p.m. and host La Salle on Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
Elma Kolenovic scored both of the Knights' goals in a 2-0 win over Rider on Sunday at University Stadium. Cassandra Marcoux registered three saves to get the shutout win in her collegiate debut.

SERIES SCORES

SCOUTING THE HAWKS
Monmouth sits at 0-2-1 on the season and fell 3-0 to Princeton last time out on Friday. The Hawks have yet to score a goal this season -- tied Lehigh 0-0 in 2OT and lost 4-0 at No. 21 Rutgers. In the preseason, Monmouth was voted to win its fifth straight MAAC Regular Season Title after claiming the tournament title last season.

SCOUTING THE EXPLORERS
La Salle hosts Drexel on Thursday before traveling up to Teaneck to face the Knights on Sunday afternoon. Currently, La Salle is 3-0-1 in 2017 and are in the midst of a three-game winning streak where they have not surrendered a goal. Goalkeeper Larisa Zambelli earned Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Week last week after posting a pair of shutouts. Madison Bower is the leading scorer with eight points (2G, 4A).

AMONG NEC LEADERS
Elma Kolenovic (T2, 6 points), Viktorija Miseljic (T2, 6 points) and Jessi Reinhardt (T4, 4 points) all rank in the top four of the NEC in points. Reinhardt is T1 in helpers with two in 2017.

CLIMBING THE CAREER LEADERBOARD
Reinhardt's two assists through four games have moved the senior to within two of the program record of 19 held by Kristen Habenicht.

Kolenovic's two goals on Sunday moved her into a tie for seventh all-time with 14 goals for the Knights. The junior is five goals from cracking the top five all-time.

CAREER FIRSTS
