Women's Soccer Hosts Bryant in Key NEC Matchup

HACKENSACK, N.J. – The first-place Fairleigh Dickinson women's soccer team hosts Bryant in the Breast Cancer Awareness game on Sunday afternoon at University Stadium.
Game time on Sunday is set for 12 p.m.
 
BREAST CANCER AWARENESS
The women's soccer team will be selling ribbons in exchange for donations during the game on Sunday. Buyers of the ribbons can write messages on them and put them on the fence of the bleachers. On the field, the team will be wearing pink socks against the Bulldogs.
 
LAST TIME OUT
The Knights moved to 3-0 in NEC play with a 2-1 overtime win at LIU Brooklyn on Sunday. Viktorija Miseljic scored the game-winner with nine seconds left in the first overtime period. Elma Kolenovic scored in the second half to tie the game at 1-1 after the Blackbirds took a 1-0 with a first half goal.
 
SERIES SCORE
The Knights are 4-3-1 (.563) against the Bulldogs in the series that dates back to 2009. Fairleigh Dickinson is 4-0 in the last four meetings with Bryant have outscored them 10-1. Overall in the series, all but two of the games has seen the winner shutout the loser.
 
SCOUTING BRYANT
The Bulldogs host Sacred Heart on Friday at 3 p.m. before coming to Teaneck on Sunday. Currently, Bryant sits at 8-2-2 and 2-1 in NEC play. Over its last five games, Bryant is 4-1. Remi Manna and Haley Reddish lead the attack with eight points this season, which ties the pair for 10th in the NEC heading into this weekend's play. Rachel Brightman has started all 12 games in goal and sports a 0.50 GAA and a .857 save percentage.

CONNECT FOUR?
A win on Sunday would make the Knights 4-0 in NEC play for the second time in three seasons. The last time Fairleigh Dickinson did that was back in 2015 when the Knights went a perfect 8-0 during the regular season.

ONE WIN AWAY
Head coach Eric Teepe is one win away from becoming the all-time win's leader in program history. Teepe currently has 42 career wins and is tied with Peter Gaglioti. Teepe has won 59-percent of his games in three-plus seasons on the bench.

FINE FACILITATOR
Senior midfielder, Jessi Reinhardt is one assist from becoming the program's all-time leader in the category. Currently, she is tied with Kristen Habenicht with 19.
 
WEEKLY AWARDS
For the second time this season, Viktorija Miseljic was named the NEC's Player and Freshman of the Week. Miseljic is also the first player to win multiple Player of the Week honors from the NEC this season.

STINGY D
Since coming back home from a weekend in Washington State, the Knights defense has surrendered only one goal over the past four games (3-0-1).
 
AMONG NEC LEADERS
Sofia Albertsson is second in the NEC in points (14) and Miseljic is T3 with 13. Elma Kolenovic and Reinhardt are also in the top 10 of points.

Albertsson and Kolenovic share the league-lead in goals with six. Miseljic is T3 with five tallies.
 
Reinhardt is T2 in the league in assists with four and Miseljic and Daria Jones are T5 with three helpers this season.

Amanda Fitzgerald is third among NEC goalies in total saves with 60 so far. The sophomore is fifth in save percentage (.750).
